Fibre optic rotary connectors
Fibre optic rotary connectors enable the uninterrupted transmission of large volumes of data. The type of optical fibre and plug can be freely selected according to the requirements. Terminal boxes enable an easy connection of the supply lines.
Depending on the model, fibre optic rotary connectors are available for up to 300 effective turns. A counting mechanism on the side of the fibre optic rotary connector is required for commissioning and shows the current effective turn.
In addition to the proven and tested fibre optic rotary connectors, STEMMANN-TECHNIK developed a compact design. It contains between 6 and 36 individual fibres and can realise up to 80 effective turns.
Roller bow
Roller bows for the reliable deflection of the cable from the reel body to another level. All steel components are hot-dip galvanised, rollers made of plastics PA 6 ball-beared.
Other models are possible and are modified according to the installation conditions.
Roller basket
Roller basket for the reliable deflection of the cable in one level (vertically / horizontally).
All steel components are stainless steel, rollers made of plastics PA 6, ballbeared.
Diverting unit as of 40 m/min
Diverting unit preferably for crane speeds as of 40 m/min with tight and slack cable control, pivoted in vertical bearings therefore, winding does not damage cables.
The functions required for driving operation such as tight and slack cable control, detection of running direction and torque adjustment are ensured via a lever limit switch.
Option: Panzerbelt lifting device can be retrofitted.

Diverting unit < 40 m/min
Diverting unit preferably for crane speeds < 40 m/min can, in a modular design, be equipped without monitoring, with the monitoring of slack and tight cable conditions.
All steel components are hot-dip galvanised, rolls made of plastics PA 6 ball bearing.
Diverting funnel
Diverting funnel with or without tension relief reel, ideal cable deflection for centre feeding applications.
Available for all cables according to the minimum bending radii. All steel components are hot-dip galvanised.
Terminal box
Terminal box for medium voltage 12 resp. 12 kV, protection class IP 66.
Option with FO – terminal box.

Cable fix point for spreader operation
Consisting of a pivoted tension relief reel with a compression spring-shock absorber combination.
The traction forces are absorbed via 2 tension relief windings, no punctual clamping.
Option: Tight and slack cable control possible.
